Guided mode and Adventure mode

Guided mode and Adventure mode change which tasks you see on a machine page. They do not change the machine runtime or the completion rules.

Guided mode

Choose Guided mode to see all the machine's questions. Tasks are marked Required or Guided. This view is useful when you want the full set of practice prompts.

Adventure mode

Choose Adventure mode to see required tasks and tasks you have already solved. Optional unsolved guided tasks are hidden in this view.

You can switch back to Guided mode to see those other tasks again. Switching mode does not erase your saved answers.

Finish in either mode

Solve every required answer or flag, then select Finish machine. Optional guided questions do not block the finish.

Changing modes does not start, stop or extend the machine. It does not create a new attempt, change your progress or earn XP by itself. Use the machine panel's runtime controls for those actions.
