Lost your VPN config? Make a new one

SomHack does not keep your WireGuard private key. If you lose your file, make a new config instead of trying to download the same private key again.

Replace your config

1. Open VPN setup from your account menu. The page is called VPN Access.
2. Select New config.
3. Read Make a new config?. Select Make new config to continue, or Keep current to cancel.
4. Save the new somhack-vpn.conf file.
5. Deactivate the old tunnel in WireGuard, import the new file and activate it.
6. Return to VPN Access and select Refresh VPN status.

Your current config stops working when the replacement is ready. Keep the new file safe and do not share it.

If the request is interrupted

Follow the status on VPN Access. If Retry config request appears, use it to retry the request. Avoid repeatedly making new configs to fix a connection-status problem.

If the page is Recovering, or you still cannot make a new config, contact support with the message shown. Do not attach your config or private key.
