Using hints

Hints help you move forward when you are stuck. Hints never cost XP and do not reduce your score or completion credit.
Open a hint
- Find the question you are working on.
- Select Show hint if that question has a hint.
- Read it, then return to the task and submit your answer when ready.
Not every question has a hint. If Show hint is absent, that question has no hint available in that view.
What a hint changes
Revealing a hint only shows help. It does not submit an answer, mark the task solved or finish the machine. You still need to solve every required task before selecting Finish machine.
You can open hints again. Using one does not reduce XP, and wrong attempts do not reduce the XP for a later first correct answer.
If a task or hint seems broken, contact support with the course or machine name and task description.
